What comes next?

You will see a line of numbers with one gap. Sometimes the gap is at the end; sometimes it is in the middle. Pick the missing number. On More difficult the jumps can get bigger, multiply, or share into equal parts — and you may also be asked what the rule is.

Look at how each number changes from the one before. The picture (if it shows) is only extra help — you can always solve it from the numbers.
